A Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to my reader (one doesn’t like to presume).
Our Christmas card this year features our designated Charity: TVAP . An amazing place providing play-space for children and adults with challenges… well, I’ll let them explain:
Of course over the past year, we’ve helped them with their data privacy challenges too. As you can imagine, running a charity with medical AND child implications does not come easy under GDPR: there’s lots to consider. But a new system and new processes have been adopted and they are good to go. A huge well done to Gary and crew!
For everyone else with slightly fewer data management challenges, don’t forget that vigilance is always the watchword, even over the ‘break’. The black hats are still out there, and indeed likely to take advantage of our guard being down. Make sure that USB stick is protected *before* you stop in the pub for a couple of glasses of Christmas spirit with colleagues!
But enough of the sermonising: we wish you a great winter solstice, and look forward to resuming our dull yet worthy updates in the New Year.
